4th of July 2008

We sure hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. We started out our holiday weekend by going to the World of Outlaw races in Brandon on Thursday. The kids had a pretty good time. Ashlyn was very excited to get autographs of her new favorite race car drivers. On Friday, Mike, myself, Ashlyn, and Jadyn went to Valley Fair with my sister Tasha and her family. I had not been there for approximately 17 years! This was the first time for the kids and since then, we have decided that we will be going back annually! What a blast!!! We went on all the rides the kids wanted to and even some they didn't. After a long day of walking and enjoying the rides, we sat down for the wonderful fireworks display that was put on for us all. After arriving home at about 4am, we went to bed for a while and were back up and at it Saturday getting ready to head to the lake. We spend all day with Mike's family at Lake Poinsett and even shot off a few of our own fireworks. We took most of Sunday to be lazy after driving to Sioux Falls to pick Lauren up from her trip to St. Louis with her cousin. They also had a blast. They took in a Cardinals game, Six Flags, and even got to see Drake Bell perform! What a bunch of spoiled little ones we have. Oh well! What else would we spend our money on...right??? Well, I hope you all had safe and happy 4th!
